Carry out mast lifting, front and rear tilting, steering and braking actions.

12.4 Safety precautions for use

Drivers must fasten their seat belts when getting into the car.

The following matters should be noted when loading and unloading cargo:

(1) Loading and unloading goods use slow movement or creeping speed (5 cm/second).

(2) When loading goods onto a freight vehicle, you must confirm that the vehicle is in place and well connected to the shipping port.

(3) The load capacity of the forklift must not exceed the rated load capacity of the forklift; when lifting and lowering goods, the initial speed should not be too fast.

(4) It is strictly prohibited for anyone to stand underneath the fork when it is raised.

The following matters should be paid attention to during forklift transportation:

(1) The goods transported by forklift shall not exceed the approved load of the forklift, and all forks must be inserted under the goods so that the goods are evenly distributed on the forks to avoid unbalanced loading.

(2) Do not forklift unsecured loose stacked goods.

(3) When the height of the loaded cargo blocks the view, the vehicle should be driven in reverse.

(4) When forklifting wide goods, ensure that the passage is clear and keep a sufficient distance from the shelves, buildings and equipment on both sides.

(5) When forking and transporting goods, you must pay attention to any obstacles above your head, such as pipes, beams, cables, fire sprinklers, light tubes, support structures, etc.

(6) When loading and driving, the goods should be kept as low as possible. When the mast is tilted backward or the mast is raised, driving or turning is not allowed.

(7) Reduce the speed when turning to prevent the forklift from overturning;
(8) Slow down when encountering an intersection and sound the siren;

(9) When the forklift is traveling with a load, emergency braking should be avoided.

(10) Be careful when driving on a slope. When driving on a slope larger than one tenth, you should drive forward when going uphill and drive backward when going downhill. Do not turn when going uphill or downhill. Do not load and unload when a forklift is driving downhill. Operation.

(11) When the forklift is driving, it is strictly prohibited for all parts of the driver's body to extend outside the forklift frame.

(12) For high-lift forklifts with a lifting height greater than 3 meters, attention should be paid to the falling goods above and protective measures should be taken if necessary.

(13) It is strictly forbidden to allow people to stand on the fork when it is raised high or when it is driving.

(14) When leaving the vehicle, lower the cargo fork to the ground, put the gear in the empty position, disconnect the power supply, and pull the parking brake device when parking on a slope. When parking for a long time, use wedges to cushion the wheels.

(15) It is strictly prohibited to drive after drinking, smoking, talking on mobile phones (especially when adding fuel or charging the battery), eating and chatting while driving; it is strictly prohibited to bring others with you.

12.5 Equipment maintenance and repair standards

Develop a daily, monthly and annual plan for forklift maintenance.

Implement repair and maintenance work as planned.

Repair and maintenance standards shall be implemented with reference to the equipment manual and the standards of the company's equipment management department.

Keep equipment repair and maintenance records and file them.

Lost or damaged nameplates must be replaced.

Only qualified (professionally trained after-sales service personnel) can maintain and repair the forklift.

Professional after-sales service personnel should abide by the same safety regulations as drivers when performing maintenance and repairs on forklifts.

During all maintenance procedures, the forklift must be placed on level ground to ensure that the forklift does not accidentally slide or start automatically. Secure the forklift using suitable wooden blocks and professional lifting and secure locks.

Lower the fork carriage and slowly tilt the mast forward until the fork rests on the ground. Apply the handbrake, press the emergency isolation button and remove the key. When working on a forklift with the fork carriage and/or mast raised, it must be secured to prevent it from falling.

When repairs are required at the rear of the forklift mast, the mast must be tightened to prevent it from tilting backward. No modification or addition of any equipment to the forklift is allowed without the consent of the manufacturer.

It is not allowed to use high-pressure water guns to directly flush battery forklifts. When using high-pressure water guns to flush internal combustion forklifts, the engine must be turned off and be careful not to pour water into the air inlet and exhaust port of the engine.

Do not use flammable liquids or vaporizers for cleaning. All sensitive parts need to be protected against short circuits (e.g. insulated batteries), electric motors and other parts should be cleaned using mild compressed air, the chain should only be cleaned with paraffin and then lubricated with a chain spray lubricant. After all maintenance and cleaning, the forklift and work area must be clean and free of oil and lubricant residue or debris. Pay special attention to maintaining hygiene in the operating area and cab.

12.6 Forklift charging room management standards

The place where the battery is charged or stored should be well ventilated and equipped with ventilation facilities to prevent the explosion of flammable gas.

Smoking, open flames and sparks are prohibited in the forklift charging room; it is prohibited to make or receive calls in the charging room. If you need to make or receive calls, please go outside the charging room.

Since the electrolyte in the battery is a mixture of sulfuric acid and aqueous solution, which is toxic and corrosive, work clothes and protective glasses must be worn when charging and near the battery. If your clothes, skin or eyes are contaminated with electrolyte: wash with water immediately. If your eyes are contaminated with electrolyte: seek medical advice immediately.

Open the battery cover when charging. All battery lids must be securely sealed to prevent entry of debris.

The charging room must be equipped with 2 bottles of fire extinguishers.

The battery and the top of the battery must be kept clean, dry and free of debris. The protective cover needs to be in place and must not damage the battery connections. The battery and charging cable must not be kinked together and damaged, and the insulating parts must not be corroded or damaged.

Do not add other substances to the battery. Only fill it with distilled water after charging.

Do not use or place unprotected tools or other conductive materials above the battery terminals, otherwise a short circuit may result in personal injury and battery explosion.

When charging the forklift battery make sure the battery is installed correctly, securely and securely in place.

Before each battery charging, the dust on the battery surface must be cleaned with compressed air before the battery can be charged.

Every time after adding battery fluid to the battery, the battery surface must be wiped clean with a damp cloth to prevent static electricity.

During charging, the battery will produce gases, including oxygen, hydrogen and acidic gases. The ventilation fan in the charging room must be turned on to ensure air circulation in the charging room.

Unplugging the charging plug during charging will cause arcing, so you must first turn off the charging switch (press the stop button) before unplugging the plug.

Every time you change the battery, you should add distilled water to the fully charged battery to the upper limit of the scale to ensure that there is enough water in the battery on duty. Charge the replaced battery immediately and make relevant records.

When inspecting or maintaining the battery, rubber gloves should be used to avoid electric shock.

In case the battery is tipped over or damaged, causing electrolyte leakage, emergency treatment should be carried out immediately:

(1) If the electrolyte splashes on the skin, rinse with plenty of water.

(2) If electrolyte splashes into your eyes, rinse them with clean water and seek medical examination and treatment immediately.

(3) When the electrolyte splashes on the ground, it should be neutralized with lime first, and then washed with water.

Every time you enter or exit the charging room, the door of the charging room must be closed and kept closed at all times to prevent dust from entering the charging room. The charging room must be cleaned every day to keep the charging room clean.

Regularly check the tightening of the battery and charger plug bolts to avoid loosening of the bolts and affecting the battery life.
