A qualified forklift driver must not only understand the most basic driving and operating forklifts, but more importantly, he must also understand the mechanical principles of forklifts. How to operate safely and maintain the forklift can extend the working life of the forklift, minimize accidents and reduce maintenance, achieve safe production and improve corporate efficiency.
1. How to meet the requirements of a qualified forklift driver.
(1) Drivers are generally required to undergo formal driving school training and understand how to drive motor vehicles and traffic rules. Those who obtain a motor vehicle driving license must then learn to drive a forklift and obtain a forklift operation certificate recognized by relevant national units. Driving a forklift.
(2) Forklift drivers should be in good health, have good facial features, and be no less than 18 years old and no more than 60 years old. Sensitive to sight, hearing and hearing.
(3) Forklift drivers should be serious about their work, have a sense of responsibility, love their work, and maintain the forklift seriously and responsibly.(4) If you have not obtained a motor vehicle driving license or a forklift operating certificate, you should take your work seriously and undergo supplementary training for the above two certificates in a timely manner.
2. How to use forklifts correctly and maintain safe production. Forklifts can generally be divided into internal combustion type and motorized type. The forklifts commonly used in the market are generally internal combustion type. So let’s take an internal combustion forklift as an example. Brief instructions on how to use it correctly and safely.
Internal combustion forklifts are divided into two categories: mechanical and automatic. Automatic forklifts mainly rely on hydraulic transmission, so they are naturally simpler and easier to operate. Since mechanical forklifts rely on mechanical transmission, they are naturally more difficult to operate. Therefore, drivers are required to learn and train in order to operate correctly.
3. After you are qualified to drive a forklift, before using the forklift every day:
4. 1. Check whether the engine oil is in the normal position. Is there enough diesel fuel and is there enough engine oil in the diesel pump? Is the water level in the water tank normal? If it is an automatic forklift, you should also check whether the automatic transmission oil is within the normal clearance. Are the brakes normal? Are some screws loose? When you want to start the forklift, make sure it is in neutral. After starting the forklift. Various instruments should be checked to see if they are working properly, if it is a car brake. You should also check whether the air pressure reaches the standard value. At this time, you should also use your sensitive hearing to judge whether there are any abnormal noises from the forklift, and use your sense of smell to smell whether there is any peculiar smell. If so, turn off the flame immediately and recheck. Until the abnormal noise and odor are eliminated. 2. After you have fully completed all the preparations before homework. When starting work, do not slam on the accelerator, do not carry heavy objects while driving, do not carry heavy objects in the direction, and do not lower the engine in neutral. If the diesel engine cannot lower the engine, the oil level in the diesel tank will change and the engine will suddenly stall and lose direction. When carrying goods down the slope, you should walk backwards to prevent the goods from slipping (refer to the forklift operating manual for specific details). 3. When you stop the truck after work, be sure to park the forklift in a fixed location without any safety hazards. Then put the fork knife on the ground, return it to the neutral position, apply the handbrake, put away the electric door lock, and finally check whether there is any oil leakage on the ground and whether there is any peculiar smell in the whole vehicle. Only if everything is normal can people leave. This can prevent fires caused by short circuits and ensure safe production.
5. A good forklift driver should not only know the safe use of forklifts and troubleshooting, but also know how to maintain the forklift on a daily basis to minimize the occurrence of failures. After a new car is used for 100-120 hours, the engine oil, transmission oil, and various filters should be changed. Adjust the clutch and some connecting screws, chains, etc. Do the second three-step cleaning at about 300 hours to check and adjust the mast bearings, engine valves, engine oil bottom, and check the engine usage. Are connecting rods, tiles, and screws fastened? Are the rear axle copper sleeves and mast copper sleeves damaged? When a new car is first used, the mast slots at each joint position and the mast support should be greased frequently. Generally, add butter after 100 hours of use to keep the door frame grooves of each joint and the door frame support from losing oil and being damaged. Generally, after using a new car for 50 hours, you should also check whether the fan and belt are loose, which will affect its heat dissipation, whether the surface of the water tank is covered with dust, whether the surface of the body is clean, whether the air filter element is clean, and if there is too much dust, the whole vehicle should be inspected. Clean. Keeping the entire vehicle clean is helpful for heat dissipation and troubleshooting. For maintenance, please refer to the forklift's maintenance manual. If you maintain your forklift well, you can naturally reduce the occurrence of forklift failures.
